  Unfortunately, when DCF is involved, no matter how you act in court, they will assume and report your behavior was incorrect. If your too dramatic or if your too agreeable, it&apos;s all suspicious. This case should be a catalyst for legislation to get rid of immunity for CPS agencies. And, they shouldn&apos;t be allowed to willy nilly shelter children based on the hospitals staff reporting. They need to get a serious deferential diagnosis of what they are accusing a family of with the least amount of harm to families. It&apos;s guilty until proven innocent and that&apos;s not right.

  @LawandLumber Chris W Altenburn makes &nbsp;a good argument, BUT it is clear that it wasn&apos;t the stay away order that drove Beata, it was the desire to get Maya out of the hospital. &nbsp;Mom was willing to never see her daughter again so her daughter could come home. If Maya was getting the proper care it could be said that Beata wouldn&apos;t of been so distressed...

  I asked to read my medical chart once, and staff refused. I got out of bed, and found my chart and read it. Someone on staff wrote in my chart Do not- DNR patient in bold writing.<br>I was shocked, got dressed, and left that hospital. Took me a while, before I found a good surgeon to remove my appendix. &nbsp;Im a licensed physician and attorney.<br>Physicians have a responsibility to review records. During reviews, any questions or conflicts should have been addressed with patient and staff.

  Listening the Prosecutor asking Dr. Richards about Maya&apos;s mom not being able to see/touch her daughter, made my heart hurt. That would be AWFUL!!!

  As mom to a son with severe Autism, ADHD, impulsive and agresssive behaviors etc. I fight for everything i can for him. I cant imagine being in Beata or Jacks shoes.. Much love to their family ❤
