Hey Jeff. I own a termite company. I have drilled thousands of holes. Little hint. Plunge the bit. Lifting the bit out of the hole as you drill allows the flutes to lift out the material. And prevents lock ups that break fingers and wrists.

I was panning flow sand and fishing for trout out of a swimming pool before I found Jeff Williams. Now I can watch fun videos while I do it.

I used to work at Swenson Granite in NH back in my late 20s in the 1990s as a quarry worker. You do have to read the rock, I watched a guy walk around a 20ton piece when a 2ton piece from a seam broke off onto him and crush his feet and legs. There's a bigger story here but seam in any rock is dangerous.
