It's not just Carrie. Big was also giving her mixed messages - They spend days together, then the moment the relationship becomes slightly more serious he retracts. Then he calls her or shows up at her door acting all sweet and charming. He says things like - I'm crazy about you, or even I love you. He's the exact picture of an avoidant and she's the perfect anxious attachment girlie. It's so dysfunctional.
