  To be brutally honest, if you pay a million dollars for a new harvester and it has an oil leak before you hit the field, let alone in the first season, the place it goes is to the dealer with expletives. They can wash it and source the issue and fix it, while they furnish you with a loan Harvester to continue your harvest. You don't pay all that money (or finance all that money) for a monument to made in America.

  Onyx is really becoming knowledgeable about farming and the nuances of trouble shooting tractor issues! It was nice to see Ila is starting to learn to drive the farm equipment!

  After paying what those combines cost, I don’t think I’d be the one pressure washing and chasing an oil leak on a machine that has been through not even half a day of harvest.

  As for your AC Clavicle joint, I had surgery on my right AC in the Navy while using a air powered needle gun, during dry dock period.  The vibration destroyed the cartilage. after 3 cortisone shots,  had to have surgery.  The Dr. had to cut AC joint apart from each other.  I heard there is a better procedure now.  But i can tell you, you will notice a big difference in your shoulder strength.  I use to be able to pull a 80lb compound bow before that. Now, I can't pull a 60lb bow, without feeling like I'm pulling ligaments apart. Be careful after your surgery, when you go wrenching on machines. The other great note on this, Oxycontin was a great pain killer.  My advise, is get this surgery, when you don't have to drive or operate anything.  As for both shoulders, I would get them both done before planting season, and one at a time.  Your arm will be in sling for about a week or 2, and you will be in PAIN.  The only thing that know, that will strengthen your shoulder after, is a lot of muscle building in your shoulders.  Good luck

  You know you are getting old when you watch other people&apos;s kids on YouTube grow up 😂<br>Thanks for bringing me along for the ride, Zack ❤<br>And for what it&apos;s worth, I didn&apos;t havey shoulders done, but I had a knee done and it wasn&apos;t bad at all. They are so good at these things now. My knee is literally better than new💪 My advice would be to consult with a physiotherapist already now and get some advice on exercises before and after the surgery. Knees are different, but I started trading already 6 months before the surgery, to aid my recovery after.

  The hardest part of shoulder surgery is knowing you waited too long to get it. You will feel much better.
