  Just one ground rod there. It’s been two here (ny) for at least 40 years… six feet apart. Looks great. Sure will be nice not listening to that generator screaming in your ear

  Here in British Columbia Canada, I bought 2 6x6s treated for 85 bucks a piece, that was a couple years ago. I have since bought a sawmill and never looked back. I can't imagine a homestead with out a mill. As for power, I'm off grid, been that way for years now. The utility company quoted me about $30k to run power from the road to my house, I laughed and said no thanks. I spent that much on a solar system over time, but I don't get a bill every month, and my power has never gone down. Hope the winter is good to you, been great so far up here in the north, but they say -31 by Wednesday. Not abnormal for this time of year, but still not fun. Take care.

  Howdy Brother- glad you got your temporary pole rigged up. I bought a treated pole last year for the sawmill and I gave $70 for it. When you have a sawmill and you have to buy something it kinda goes against the grain lol. Hope you are doing well and taking good care of your back. God bless

  Great video..... 🤔<br>You told us exactly what you were going to do and then showed us after you had done it. I was really looking forward to seeing you drill the 4-ft hole. That might have been a 2 hour long video on its own.

  good video and job. i looked at some treated 6 by 6 &nbsp;and they were same price as yours. i will cut locast or cedar and my my own post. we have had about 9 inches of rain this month nothing but mud here now hope it&apos;s not that bad there. take care, be safe and well.
