  Consumption and max consumption not being the same number smells like inefficiency to me. Inefficiency is waste, Ficsit does not waste.

  I just did black start, however I prepared myself, and you seem to almost touched on solution I used. What I did earlier to be ready, is to have tanks. Many, many tanks (that is industrial fluid buffers).<br>I calculated that, my power generators can produce power for at least 2 hours before the buffers run dry. I may have broken supply chain to create rocket fuel I use for the generation. Ooopps. Didnt notice it, everything went blackout. Next to power plant I have batteries storage (20MWh, my grid capacity is 54MW). I cut the line out from my powerplant (it supplies its nearest dependencies, though compact coal and nitrogen isn&apos;t on that subgrid), opened valve from fuel storage, waited 2 minutes for pipes to fill, reset fuse and boom. Everything kicked right back online. reconnected to the grid, ensured fuel flows, closed storage output and opened storage input for refilling.<br><br>IMO storing large amount of fuel for your power is underrated.

  Power switches are a lifesaver if you like efficient builds with maximizing the production and time !

  Cap and Max Cons I always want atleast the exact same. That way you don&apos;t run the risk of any power failures. If there ever is any extra I setup a separate factory with battery Power storage.

  I literally came here trying to figure out exactly how the power switches work because I just experienced unfortunately my first blackout full stinking blackout. <br><br>And while I know why it happened and thinking back now that I have a clear head the warning signs were there because me and my friend who play with me have been hard drive hunting trying to find a specific alternate recipe and needless to say he at one point went hey a fuse is blown but I said no that&apos;s not what that is cuz I glanced at the message but it didn&apos;t register that I might want to investigate cuz we were super far away anyway what it was was the notification that my stuff was using the batteries that I had set up and also before this I had never used to power switch and now regretting that choice.😢

  i use prioraty power swiches in my hypertube cannons, usefull thing about them is that you can controll other swiches remotly so i turn on the cannon, fly to my destention, and than use the prio swich at my destenation to turn of the cannon remotly

  Great video. &nbsp;Blackouts can be rough so building infrastructure in the beginning to help protect yourself is key!<br><br>Your design aesthetics are great man. &nbsp;That&apos;s always been my shortfall in Satisfactory. &nbsp;I&apos;ve always built based off function and ignored more of the design side of things. &nbsp;I need to work on that.
