I like to make factory-in-a-box blueprints to turn ingots into Tier 2 and Tier 3 parts (modular frames, rotors, etc). Blueprints will remember the recipes and clock speeds you select, so I'll build an entire production line inside the designer. Squeezing everything in can be tricky, but having the blueprints makes mid-game and late-game factory builds much quicker.

As someone who’s new to Satisfactory, thank you for explaining that you need belts at the end of splitters and mergers to auto-connect blueprints. I couldn’t figure out why my blueprints weren’t auto-connecting. Your designs for the assembler and manufacturer blueprints are also genius.

My main factory is an absolute ungodly mess of spaghetti, powered by blueprinted blocks I just placed nilly willy ... and In love it XD

For Point 2. You can copy placed blueprints via the Dismantle Blueprint mode! Press F, cycle Dismantle mode until the placed blueprint is highlighted and Scroll Wheel click to copy.

I did my first 'big' factory for heavy modular frames, about 800~ machines. I was kicking my self at the end going why didnt I do blue prints!! However, my factory looks SICK so I am not going to complain too much. It's visually pleasing seeing all the organized chaos with mk6 belt lights and lifts all over.
