  The irony in all of this, is that the whole goal was to come to accept fate. However, DIO and Pucci's fatal weakness was not accepting their own fate to fail.

  Something that I thought about when seeing the ending again through the anime was that, when Pucci was about to be killed, he begged Emporio to wait until the cycle was complete, then he would accept his defeat. But if that was the case, he wouldn’t have stopped the acceleration briefly in the first place, he just couldn’t accept that the Joestars will and Emporio (the one carrying on that will) would carry over and potentially defeat him in the future of his and Dio’s new universe, and that proved to be his undoing, trying to bend fate to his will one last time.

  ive always felt so bad for emporio. imagine being the only one to understand everything that had happened, with no one to confide in or understand the terrifying experiences you went through. how you alone, as an 11 year old child, were tasked with saving the world from this very powerful man with the ability to do so many things. emporio likely can&apos;t tell anyone else, at least not in a way they would understand or even believe him
