I messaged you the last time you missed an episode. Your response; "got covid mate". You are part of my Sunday morning coffee and youtube favorite channels.

So many sailing channels seem to lose their roots, and it becomes about bigger boats, drama and emotional turmoil, mundane self indulgent montages of tropical scenery, and in some cases flaunting semi-naked bodies. I appreciate that Parlay continues to show us parts of the world that we are unlikely to ever see, immerses us in these foreign cultures and takes the time to share the stories of these friendly people. For example the inside of the classroom and the insights into how proud they were about their school is fascinating.

Those kids are amazing. I wish my 4th graders understood the value of their education as much as those little ones.

I expect they will talk about your visit for a long time, and many will never forget it. Well done.

I can not say it enough about Colin, Jamie, Britney & the crew of Parlay. The interactions with communities and cultures they have come across on their sailing journey are absolutely inspiring. Thank you so very much for sharing with all of us.

Back in the early 1980’s I spent ten months in PNG. I was sixteen at the time. My father’s job was to write up math and science lessons for elementary school kids. They would broadcast these lessons over the radio to the teachers and school children. For the remote islands they would record the lessons on cassette tapes and mail them to the schools. It’s been a very long time but I wonder if the schools still use his lessons. My time in PNG was amazing the people were so open and friendly. Thank you for sharing this content and bring back loads of memories.
