  This is by far the best sailing video/story I have had the pleasure of viewing. On an equal note it is heartwarming to watch mother and daughter working together to accomplish your achievement.

  I&apos;m 66 and been sailing all my life. This is by far the best racing video I&apos;ve ever watched : incredibly professional shots, no frills attitudes , reality all the way .<br>I congratulate you from as far as Belgium.

  Excellent documentary. I&apos;m an instructor and Captain myself and have some offshore sailing experience. Your descriptions of the conditions and of the two of you experiencing them separately and together is a beautiful weave of self-awareness, compassion and leadership which we all should strive for. Thank you for sharing this amazing film-making. Such a nice change from the gritty, tough, macho shouting matches which take up WAY TOO MUCH of sailing story-telling. <br>I will share this video everywhere!

  Hi! I’m a fellow sailor from Sweden(sailing corsair 28). I stumbled over your documentary by chance and must say that it gave me much joy. I’m very impressed by all of you, your father as well, supporting you and the way you managed to sail that hard race with ease. I have done double-handed racing only once and not that many days and even that was hard so to watch how well you and your mom did was very impressive. I will absolutely follow your cannel. As good of a sailor you are as good of a filmmaker too! God luck with your coming races/sailing and fair winds

  This is, by miles and miles, the most exhilarating, charming, inspirational, delightful and informative sailing video I have ever seen. And I doubt many have seen as many as me. No praise too high. What a wonderful achievement by two remarkable women. You have a wonder-struck fan for life.

  Beautiful story and journey you shared with your viewers. Absolutely enjoyed watching the camaraderie between your mother and you. The sailing was quite an adventure and I’m sure very emotional knowing two of your fellow competitors didn’t finish their race. I can’t imagine how much more difficult it is for those on board those vessels. So, I know this video is old and was almost two years ago now, but sending you both a huge congratulations from a fellow captain, who was genuinely inspired watching a mom and daughter crew not only complete the race, but also achieve victory in doing so. And I know you’ll say it doesn’t matter, it’s not what we race for… but come on with that trophy. You two deserved a much BIGGER TROPHY!
