  My dad used to say I didn’t need a man, and I didn’t need to get married, that while he was alive he’d take care of me and when he was gone I’d be able to provide for myself and that happened!! However before passing he told me to find a man to take care of me, I haven’t yet, but I haven’t fully loved myself until now, so now I feel ready for that to happen, but even being 54 now, I’m not in a rush because I want a relationship that will make us both feel in peace ❤💖💖💙

  I come from a very old school way of thinking Hispanic family &amp; both my mom and sister are wounded feminines. They’ve always told me that if a man is interested in me, it must be because he wants only one thing. Therefore, I attracted a man who wanted everything but that. He could care less about creating deep intimacy. I don’t blame my family but I’ve had to learn to create boundaries with them and reprogram my deeply rooted belief system. I realize now that I had to go through those lessons. I became fearful of love and didn’t trust a man could love me. Everyone is worthy of love.❤ if you feel you don’t have love, then become love. ❤

  I was always told by my mother to be independent, have a career, &nbsp;and be self-sufficient. Then that way when you find your life partner, you’re not with him because you need him you’re with him because you want him. 💕😊
