Omg!!! FINALLY a realistic tipping suggestion video!!! You know who I love to tip? The people that are looked over. I saw a man on his knees clipping grass with scissors every day. I gave him $20, and he cried. He couldn't speak English, but his appreciation didn't need words ❤.

As you fly in look out the window. The poverty is heartbreaking. Because I am so blessed (like most Americans) I try really hard to be a blessing. I tip as much and as often as I am able. Look at your budget, decide what you can afford, set it aside then use it all. Generosity looks different for different people but whatever you budget be generous. I guarantee your life is more comfortable than theirs and I guarantee you will not go unappreciated. Be kind yall❤

I will never for the life of me understand how people undervalue the services of housekeeping so much. How does it make sense to tip the bellboy $10 for wheeling a few bags or $5 to the server who carries a couple of plates to you but only $3 to the lady who is scrubbing your TOILET, making your bed, touching your dirty, linens, etc. Housekeeping is hard, dirty work. Tip them at least $5 a day and they will take care of you in my experience.

I remember 5 of us bar hopping in the Azores back in the late 70's, and we took our cabbie around with us for about 6 hours. We fed him, got him seriously shitfaced, and at the end of the night tipped him $20. He about cried... that was his rent for the month.

I love tipping, employees seem to love receiving it also and that helps with your service being 100%.

I just realized that everytime I have planned a trip I have watched your videos, and so now listening to your voice is therapeutic for me as it reminds me of travelling and how I feel when I am. I'm going to Brazil next week and am a little nervous about it, but I put your recent videos on and now I'm back in the spirit of travel. Thanks for that 😎

They must think we're the Rockefeller's. I usually tip much more than you said, but the service we've received has been amazing. Great video!

You are spot on. For these people telling everyone to tip $20.00, that would be like tipping 40-50% in the USA. We've been vacationing in Mexico since 2003 and after becoming close to some of the workers, we have spent time with them outside of the resort and they make a pretty good living.<br>We do the $1.00 a drink, $2-$3 on the bed each day, $1-$2 on the fridge (if we need anything restocked), & $2.00 at buffets.
