  Hey Friends!!! We somehow missed that we edited out an important comment. The video should have included that we follow the same guidelines for lunch as we do for breakfast, and if we order food to our loungers, we are sure to include a few extra dollars for our pool/beach server. I don't know how I missed this when watching it back several times before posting- especially when lunch is always my favorite meal of the day on vacay!!!

  I really enjoyed watching this video, picked up some great ideas. So happy you mentioned the landscaping, security and general maintenance staff, they all work so hard and deserve anything you can give. TY for taking the time to make this, looking forward to the next one. 😊

  Kimberly’s videos are always so, so helpful.  I’m on a lot of A.I. forums and what amount (and how) to tip is the one of the top 3 questions people always have. Breaking it down like this is a perfect way to explain, organize and plan for how and what to tip.  Her emphasis of “dirty, torn bills  is so true. On our last trip the bank (Bank American, mind you) couldn’t give us brand new bills and I did what Kimberly mentioned. We usually get pesos for off resort excursions and I think we are just going to start tipping in pesos since the bills are made of plastic, don’t rip and are waterproof.  I also want to mention that they can’t take any foreign coins, so don’t bother.

  Totally agree with all you said. Great job sharing your advice with everyone.  We always take pesos from our bank and a few extra US dollars. I super-organize, and you should see my tip chart before we go!  My husband rolls his eyes, but boy does it make life easier when we are there. I also watch Memories and Mojitos and have wondered about treat bags... Keep the videos coming! Thanks so much. We are Beloved and ERC fans and are planning on Coral in the near future.

  This was a very informative video and definitely in line with our tipping practices.  I do hope people will understand the importance of tipping a hard working staff at all inclusive resorts.  It’s hard to hear when people make excuses for not  tipping.  It truly doesn’t matter what country or culture a person is from and whether tipping is common there or not.  It’s our job to understand the tipping expectation of the country we are traveling to.  Even a small tip is better than none and means so much to the recipient.  ❤

  You are so right - tipping as you go is so important no matter where you travel!  I’ve heard people say they don’t tip housekeeping everyday as they leave the entire week’s tip on the last day.  If that person has that day off then they don’t get their money!  I would feel so terrible.

  Thank you very much for the information! <br>We understand that tipping is very situational and based on the Resort experience. Your video gives us great guidelines and suggestions we hadn&apos;t considered. <br>We are heading to Secrets Akumal in October. Several social media groups have some tipping suggestions. Your video helped round out what we were already thinking.

  I have also included hand creams and lip balms to my goodie bags. I actually started asking male waitstaff if they had a wife or girlfriend at home and I give them those. One guy once was so excited to have a gift for his wife, I though he was going to cry. I know that a lot of the workers give the candy to their kids, so I figured I&apos;d include spouses, too.

  Booked our first Excellence trip to Excellence Coral Playa Mujeres for our 5th Anniversary in March 2027. We usually go to Sandals w/ a butler so this will be a little different for us. Looking forward to it.

  Great video! Wonderful tips! We are very much the same on the amounts and those we tip, money well deserved. I&apos;ve always wondered about tipping management; Restaurant Managers, Guest Service Manager, Assistant Managers etc., what are your thoughts?
