  These women would've benefited from having a wattpad/fanfic phase in their tweens. They'd have grown up to realise that those kinds of tropes arent as thrilling as they seem (and that the writing on these """dark romance""" books isnt that great). But bc they didnt, they see the thrill of these weird, abusive, controlling, forbidden fruit men enticing in the way a rebellious/weird kid 12 yr old would for an x reader wattpad fic. Like booktok girlies act like the girls id see when EYE was on wattpad at 12, but its so much worse bc theyre grown adults screaming and creaming over such juvenile, insensitive topics and themes 😭 dont get me STARTED on all the cringey ass guys pandering to ts too🤮
