  there's a quote from one episode i quote all the time to my coworkers. Lestrade trying to fix a subway car and get it running, not understanding why it isn't starting up. Holmes walks up with "allow me to introduce you to some 17th century technology" before kicking the console to start up the car

  Sherlock Holmes in the 22nd Century is one of my all-time favorite adaptations of the franchise! In fact, if you haven't seen or heard of it already you should consider watching and reviewing the franchise's earliest anime adaptations, Sherlock Hound.

  In my opinion, making the mistery solvable to the audience is one of THE most important things an Sherlock adaptation must do. One of the reasons Holmes got to be this famous is because the stories were written as basically a game for the reader to solve before Sherlock pointed the solution at the end, people send letters to each other discussing the clues and created one of the earliest fandom communities because of this. If you liked this format, I highly recommend you to watch Detective Conan, it's an anime inspired on the Sherlock Holmes format.

  I feel like Moriarty not feeling like he has a master plan or purpose is just another way of showing that, at the end of the day, there is only criminal mastermind like him. Even an imposter/clone can't match his planning

  The voice of Sherlock Holmes is Jason Gray-Stanford who would later be detective Randy Disher from Monk that I found very surprising

  If you go way way back to the 80s, this isn&apos;t (possibly) its original origin. Bravestarr has a 2-part episode titled &quot;Sherlock Holmes in The 23rd Century.&quot;<br><br>Take a wild guess what happens there.
