It's been a while. A few things:
I spent the last 5 hours captioning this video. And the plan is to do this for all future videos!
I've reopened channel memberships. There aren't many benefits but to support me and to also get your name put in the outro credits of every video which is pretty cool.
I'll be hosting a few events soon where we all play a dead game together in my discord so join it using the link in the description and look out for a ping. take care legends !

Hi! This's the owner of The Pagoda, I've had a lot of people mention they saw my base in this! I hope it was somewhat neat to see. It's a nice escape for me, so I get lost in building from time to time. Thank you for touring it, and doing this video!

 SetK is an absolute legend.
I'm 25 in August and I remember watching the pokemon art being built.
This was a flashback I did not expect especially when YouTube said "City of Heroes" and nothing else lol.

I honestly didn’t know Sotor Dave took his own life i genuinely thought he just gave up on the game and YouTube.

I’m actually mortified. I bumped into him a few times when I did play chivalry 2 and he was actually really great to team up with when pushing objectives.

Damm. Rest in peace man, I’m actually crushed about this.

Very glad someone covered Dave's story that wasn't part of the chiv community. He was a good friend and a good guy. RIP Soter Dave.

Thank you for including the soter dave piece in this video, he was a dear friend to me and the chiv 2 community as a whole, we love him for himself and his content but the devs we never on the side of the players they were only on the side that makes them money or makes them "look good" so from the bottom of my heart thank you for spreading awareness to Daves story

As part of the current Chiv 2 community I’d have to say this is a fair assessment. Soter Dave really was a primary reason for a lot of the veteran players leaving, and really they keep player counts up by constantly having Steam sales that make the game $5 and it’s free on Game Pass. I love the game. No other game comes close to the feeling that Chiv 2 gives, but they messed up. I used to see Sun God every single day, I’ve seen him twice since Dave’s passing. And that’s true of so many older players. Hopefully someone takes up the mantle and gives us something similar to the Chiv 2 experience in the future. For now I’ll keep lobbing arrows until the sad day comes they do finally shut it all down for good.
