  As a retired Scania Master Technician can I just compliment that technician for asking ALL the right questions. And being so open minded as well. He totally knew where to look from a technician&apos;s PoV. So often engineers don&apos;t care what work they cause down the road but Scania do and it shows.<br>This video is what should be shown to all prospective truck buyers as it is something new and people will want reassurance about what happens if it goes wrong.<br>Be interesting to let these guys have the red one for a day and have them crawl all over it as it has the same driveline as International.<br>Once again Bruce knocks it out of the park and gets the right people assessing this truck.

  Spoilers on the corners of the cab are not for looks, but to direct the air flow in a way that reduces dirt on the side of the cab especially at the level of the door handles when driving on wet roads.All trucks of European manufacturers have this type of spoilers on the corners.

  I have driving timbertrucks since i was 14 years old here in the northpart of Sweden. And i have to say, there is nothing that can compet with a Scania. Back then we had a Scania 141 and one Volvo F12. The Volvo was great, wonderful interior with that big cab, it was a new world when it came 77, it was lightyears ahead what we had earlier, a Volvo F89. And then we had a Scania 142 and later the hero Scania 143 topline. That truck was just the king of the road, that was a volvo killer for sure. My relatives in the US had a company in south carolina back then. They had about 20 units of kenworths and peterbilts and some macks for local transports. They had a transport line to california, so they had what you call it coust to coust trucking. I had the opportunity to drive thous trucks, and they was just awful, i couldn&apos;t imagine driving thous pies of crap to Los Angeles. They asked me if i liked to stay and job for them.. I love you but not thanks. Then went home to Sweden and back in my Scania, it was like stepping in 50 years in the future after that experiance. Thank Odin i live in Sweden.

  I&apos;m still trying to figure out why seeing americans sitting on a Scania is so goddamn addictive... &nbsp;I&apos;m from Spain, haven&apos;t sit on a truck in my life but I&apos;ve been watching this channel for a while now 😄🤷‍♂

  So you took the Scania to a truck dealer and found a really knowledgeable mechanic who was really interested in the design and build from a service and repair standpoint and didn&apos;t tilt the cab for him! Really!
