I love how your dad says, " no, no you have to do it for yourself so you learn" then points out problems but keeps it in your hands. That is a 1st class dad teaching method, let you make mistakes and help you learn from them!

My father passed much of his wisdom to my brother and I. He passed in 2017 and not a day goes by that I don’t think of him. I was fishing the other day and I caught a couple of pike. I know he was watching and smiling as I showed my son a new knot he could try. I love fishing.

This makes me miss my dad greatly. He was a great angler and wanted to pass down his knowledge to me, but unfortunately I just wasnt interested as a kid and into my teens. Now that he's gone I regret every time I didnt go fishing with him. <br>Now in my late 20's im finally into fishing and theres not a day that goes by that I wish I was fishing with my old man.<br><br>Thank you for having your dad on the channel. Invite him more if you can. Nothing like an OG passing down knowledge to his son and sharing that with us.<br><br>Truely, thank you.
