Watching this 25 years after the fact, it is still as surreal as the day it happened.

It is so important that these videos stay on the internet for everyone who was not born yet.

As painful as watching this is, when that 2nd plane comes in, my heart still drops. Takes me back to that day. <br>Never, Ever Forget 🕊

I almost forgot how respectable and empathetic journalism was in our nation. “We don’t want to speculate” and “we don’t know” are such honest and comforting words in the manner in which they say them as if projecting the fact that they want to be as honest and transparent with the American people as possible.

This is not only an important reminder of the events of 9/11. It is also a good reminder of what competent journalism used to be.

People born after this tragedy will never fully appreciate the calming, professional voices of Jennings, Rather and Brokaw.

2026 never gets any easier to watch. Absolutely horrible. We were so united back then too. Sad.

I miss Peter Jennings.  He was at his very best on this Tuesday, 9/11/01.  RIP Sir

This is why Peter Jennings is a true legend. His calm voice, keeping the people calm and level headed as we all experienced the horror together. Not to mention how long he was on air for the Citizens. Something like 16 straight hours. This man deserved every award he ever got. Thank you Peter, we appreciate you helping us through this. We miss you legend.

Flight 93 flew into the ground in Shanksville Pennsylvania at about 10:03 am. Thanks to incredibly brave passengers who fought back, the hijackers didn’t reach their target.
