  Just a thought, the part that had frost on it from the air canister is most likely where your leak originated, the frozen compressed air froze the rubber and made it extremely hard and brittle, I believe that's why you are supposed to activate it in the water where the water prevents the rubber from over cooling....  other than that, dig the videos man, from Florida..

  Now take the deflated raft to use as A improvised shelter where you camp.

  i am 90% sure the freezing of the raft itself lead to that leak cause it did something to the stitching in one of the corners .. most likely cause it was deployed on land and not in water

  Expired first aid kits etc. would be welcomed by your local scouts, guides or St. Johns. They use them to practice.

  Well that triggered some memories. I spent time in a 25 man life raft after the Atlantic Conveyor was hit during the Falklands war. I don't remember much about being in the life raft itself but I vividly recall that, with a damaged shoulder, even trying to swim towards it, it seemed to be drifting farther away. When I managed to loop my good arm around a rope I had no strength left to climb on board and need to be hauled up through the door by others. Still another enjoyable video. Thanks.

  Andy just triggered an international S&R event when the deep sea raft's automatic ELT beacon activated from a fish pond deep into the UK...   Experts hypothesize that the signal is actually coming from somewhere off the coast of Malaysia but is being refracted to a pond in the UK.

  the conical yellow thing is a drogue,it towed behind the raft to help steady it in rough seas

  I service life rafts for a job. I have loads of those first aid kits. The painkillers are in date in that kit you opened. The Ibuprofen are amazing. 2009 is the date of manufacture.

  One of the things I love about you, Andy is your enthusiasm. &nbsp;You clearly find joy in exploring new things and facing adventure. &nbsp;You&apos;re also so very affable about everything. &nbsp;<br><br>I always think that you&apos;d be a great guide to camping and light adventures for those of us who are not quite as skilled, or quite as young....but really find what you do really neat or cool...or whatever phrase it is that younger folk use now. &nbsp;Thank you for your videos!
