  Your facts about what happens during a C&P Exam are right on target.  I had an exam for PTSD.  The evaluator did exactly as you mentioned.  He went back, right off the bat, about my childhood.  Sensing I was NOT there for that, I said I had a traditional type family unit.  It was far from that, but I was there for adult issues, not childhood.  I also did not get ahead of the examiner.  I let him lead and did not include facts that weren't even asked.  I was polite but maintained a rather neutral mood.  When asked,  "how are you?"  I responded with, "glad to have this opportunity to explain my issues and how it impacts my daily life."  Definitely DO NOT say, "I'm great, thank you."  If you say that, it will be all over for you.  Best to think of how you felt on your worst day with symptoms, and let the examiner know.  Good luck fellow veterans.

  So many of us lie at the mental exam because we are scared of having our 2A rights taken away

  01/17/2024 10:50pm went to mental health C&P exam today? You are right on point, my friend. She started with pre-service, in-service and post-service questions. She kept trying to take me back to pre-service and post service to make that the cause of my mental health conditions. Good thing I watched your video before the exam. I didn't fall for it. "The examiner is not my friend." lol  Thank you.

  I went to like 8 exams, went from 10% to 70%.... not done yet, one deferment and higher appeal

  My first Cand P exam was an Airforce retired doc and told me flat out that he didn’t get a fair shake and that I wouldn’t either and smiled at me. The whole exam he told me there was nothing wrong and if I didn’t stop faking my exam would be stopped and I would have to wait another 6 months to get my c and p exam. He flat out lied on the exam notes and made up several answers I had given him to make the claim less then it was I was furious. I complained to the VA but they were more interested in how I got the doctors exam reports then what’s was on them 😢 they didn’t care about the fraud he portrayed. I complained to whoever would listen and after a lot of hassle and frustration I finally got my P and T. The VA honestly doesn’t give a rats ass about vets it’s disgusting.

  I recently went for a supplemental claim evaluation at the VA and the person couldn't find the documentsI submitted. Luckily I bring a folder every time now with all my documents just in case
