And any true Slaanesh player knows, no matter if it&apos;s Age of Sigmar or 40k, the detailed descriptions across the table while your opponent is trying to move or roll is just part of the head games.<br><br>Personally, for my 2 cents my favorite hero is Syll&apos;Esske. It&apos;s just such a unique model and the idea is so fun. To be fair though, there&apos;s really no other army like the Hedonites where you&apos;re so spoiled for choice with wonderfully interesting and flavorful hero models.

  My recommendation for starting your army collection out is the Sigvald battalion plus the old spearhead box. If you’re leaning into the mortal part of the range, you’re getting most of a 2k list. All you need is the Contorted Epitome from the manifestation box, a couple boxes of Daemonettes, and a hero or two and you’ve got arguably the cheapest AOS army to collect right now - somewhere between 600 to 700 dollars.

  Give in to excess. Buy Synessa and Dexcessa, build/paint them, and make them your army focal point. Just remember: Dexcessa is built to bully weaker models and units. Throw her into chaff, it&apos;s tactical and s/he will buff herself while being very Slaanesh-y.

  Sigvald is a great starter hero. Even if later you discover you are interested in some other aspect of the army, he is not wasted, as he is solo operator that can do a lot of work even without army built around him.<br><br>Also I&apos;d like to recommend Blacktalon by Liane Merciel as a great AoS Slaanesh read. While it is a stormcast novel, one of the major enemy camps they clear is Slaanesh encampment, and you can see every aspect of the host in all its glory!
