  The ending credits for RE4 back in 05 got me in tears, it shows how joyful this village was until las plagas came along

  When you dive into the plot, you’ll realize that Salazar was just a pawn in Saddler’s game the whole time. It led to innocent villagers becoming subjected to the fossilized plaga. It caused them to murder their children and any outsider that didn’t carry the same blood as them. The sociopathic tendencies of Saddler to manipulate a naive kid like Salazar makes him one of the most evil antagonist in the franchise.

  What really bothers me about the las plagas was how we hear no connections between them and the Progenitor flowers. It seems odd how there is a virus found in Africa that can literally reanimate bodies and mutate them where as the las Plagas can do the pretty much the same thing. The Progenitor, the Las Plagas, and the megamycete must have a strong connection somewhere.

  I think a game focusing on the first Castellan against the Los Illuminados as a Medieval RE4 would be pretty interesting. Imagine fighting Ganados and parasites as a Medieval Knight!

  I did not know the remake version of Nemesis had some Las Plagas in him, that&apos;s a nice way of connecting the games together. The original RE 4 was very stand alone and the remake series adding lor like this is a great idea.<br>Las Plagas is definitely one of the more downright painful and unpleasant parasites to have.

  Personally, what made RE4 (and every RE game, actually), so terrifying, was not the fact there was danger everywhere, nor the morbid gore and body horror everywhere, but the constant feeling of loneliness. That knowledge that you are completely alone in this long mission. You can&apos;t rely on anything or anyone, everything is up to you. <br>This also makes cutscenes with other living people a very huge tension-relieving moment, specially with Ada in RE2 and RE4. It&apos;s just &quot;nice to finally see another human&quot; feeling.

  I love RE4 so much, and the cult surrounding the village and castle is quite interesting. It’s kinda sad saddler is so corrupt though, and used Salazar to rebirth the plagas and control the village. I hope the remake can add more creepiness to the cult especially to saddler and Salazar.

  These RE villains love there grotesque body transformations, saddler still is one of the freakiest I&apos;ve ever seen with that eye opening in his mouth.

  The Plagas probably became spores after they were buried under the castle because they had to adapt to being underground or else they&apos;d have died.
