  I never understood why the Navies had so much trouble really hitting targets during pre-landing bombardments. They created the surface search and fire control radar system for the US Navy. &nbsp;They worked on locating and sinking subs. &nbsp;<br>Artillery barrages from the US especially with the proximity fuses were devastating. &nbsp;Yet our Naval bombardment especially on D-DAY wasn&apos;t as effective as hoped. <br><br>Garbo was a GOD send. &nbsp; His braintrust was definitely a gift for the Allies and an enemy to the Axis powers. &nbsp;I love him being awarded the Iron Cross and the MBE.<br><br>Thank GOD for our GREATEST GENERATION. &nbsp; I had an uncle with the Marines on Iwo Jima and Guadalcanal. &nbsp;One with the signal/communication in the ETO who landed on D-DAY &nbsp;+2. One in Alaska. &nbsp;And 1 with the Army Air Corps who worked on the planes. &nbsp;My Dad was injured in the Navy and medically discharged. &nbsp; My uncle in the Pacific suffered with severe PTSD.

  Seems this channel doesn&apos;t know how it started.<br><br>Everyone gets told Germany invaded France so Britain had to go to war 2 days after to fire bomb cities.<br><br>Then they made up stories to get other countries into the war.<br><br>I wish people actually had the photos and documents of IG farben company and the camps and how the railway actually was going through to the next town.<br>Oh that&apos;s right I do have photos, documents, I have all the diaries to.<br>It wasn&apos;t a death camp like you people like to make up.<br>Also it was less than 300.000 Js in Germany so you can throw out the 6 number.<br><br>You people still believe the lamp shade is made from human skin and bars of soap from bodies BS stories.<br>Shows how pathetic America and Britain really are by licking the Soviets rear end and asking for more.
