  20 years ago, I lived on a mountain ridge where I raised 14 Racoons.  I used to buy 40 pound bags of dog food for them to eat.  I fed them every morning and night.  They treated me with respect and I did them too!  I sat on the front porch and while sitting in a chair I would talk and sing to them.  Sometimes different groups of them would try to fight over the food I had spread in 7 pie pans.  I would just call each one by name and tell them to knock it off and they did immediately.  Every one had different markings of which I had written down in a note book.  I had 10 ducks and told those racoons not to eat my ducks/Quack- Quacks and I would feed them all the dog food that they wanted.  I was very proud of those snuggly friends.  I loved them so much.

  It was Halloween night here in Minnesota, my wife and Son and i went to this Park called Alimagnet Park in Burnsville Mn. It is known to have a clown ghost that shows himself sometimes in the trees or something like that. It was close to midnight and i was being stupid, yelling &quot;reveal yourself&quot; and all of a sudden we hear these drum like footseps that started slow maybe 50 yards away in the woods and the steps became faster like alien speed and was right up to us and stopped and we felt a cold like wind from it. It sounded like it moved 100 yards in a flash. It was pitch black out! We looked at each other like WTF. And were terrified. I have never been more afraid. I have stayed in the middle of the boundary waters several times. I have been locked up. I have been through years of addiction. And nothing was at all like this. I looked at my wife and our 12 year old son at the time. And said lets get the heck out of here. To this day we have no idea what it was. The way the steps sounded and how fast they moved was not of this world. I will tell you that. I hope yall enjoyed this 100% true story <br><br>Jay (Minnesota)

  I have experienced that same thing…sounded like a huge truck was barreling through the forest straight for us from far away. It passed by us, seemed like just 50 feet away, and continued all the way down the hill (a big hill). It was fast and LOUD! My husband and I were sitting frozen as all this was happening. Then he said, Time to go in! (The camper). As we were going in, we smelled a strong odor that smelled somewhat skunky. &nbsp;It was bizarre, surreal, and scary!

  I have to write a comment to this video. In early July of 2019, two friends, my 40 yr old son and I spent a week fly fishing for smallmouth bass on Hawk Lake and a few adjacent lakes. We were staying at the Hawk Lake Lodge situated on the northern end of Hawk Lake which is about 30 miles due east of Kenora, Ontario. One evening my son and I went out fishing and ended up in a small bay connected to Hawk Lake. The bay was calm with a rocky shore line ideal for throwing poppers to hungry smallmouths. After an hour of successful fly fishing everything got eerily quiet as the sun set just over the horizon. While drifting about 50 feet from shore and casting toward shore all of a sudden &nbsp;it sounded like the description in Chris’s story of the moose hunters in Ontario. Just like the hunters described, it sounded like a bull elephant was charging through the forested area directly adjacent to the shoreline we were casting to. The entirety of Hawk Lake and adjacent lakes are lined with a thick pine forest. After about five or six seconds, the crashing through the trees came to an abrupt halt. Then there was again total silence. I said to my son, “ Jon , that sounds like one angry moose “. This quiet lasted a few minutes. Then came what I can only describe as knocking which lasted a good minute and was very loud. It seemed it was coming from where we heard the crashing noise through the trees and sounded exactly like the hooves of a horse on a cobble stone street . I thought it very odd that a moose could make such a sound but we continued fishing and listening for the next thirty minutes or so then started up the motor and headed back to the lodge. After that clopping sound there was total silence and we never did see or hear anything more. We never mentioned this event to anyone at the lodge. Still a mystery to me to this day.
