  Being sexually abused at such a young age, she had no idea of normal boundries. At 14, she was still a child, easily manipulated. So heartbreaking.

  It’s so heartbreaking to hear this poor young lady say “I don’t know if I would call what happened ‘rape’. He just forced me to have sex with him.” OMG we have to stop thinking “rape” is just a stranger pushing you to the ground and forcing himself on you. What happened to her at 14yrs old was RAPE! What happened to her at 9yrs old by her stepfather was RAPE! We need to change the conversation so young girls don’t feel this is acceptable.

  I am 75, years old. &nbsp;The sexual abuse I endured began in infancy and ended &nbsp;after a violent rape when I was &nbsp;age 8. <br>I had 3 perpetrators, members if my family. One was a woman. <br> I was in therapy for decades. <br>Here&apos;s why we never fully recover. <br>You can glue a shattered psyche back together, but you cannot fix all the cracks, chips + pits and you cannot replace the missing pieces. <br>One of the missing pieces is mental/emotional peace. <br>This is because sexual abuse = terror. Survivors of wars and sexual assault are equally &quot;shell shocked.# <br>The PTSD is the same for soldiers and adults attacked as children. <br>You can manage life, but you can not aquire the kind of mental peace, untramatized children can &nbsp;acquire. &nbsp;<br>Blessings on these brave women. I pray for justice for them and for the girls and boys who&apos;ve suffered, are suffering and will suffer. in future. 🙏

  This entire scandal underlines the reality of abuse/molestation/rape against minors. Human trafficking brings an even darker under belly to the sickness entrenched in abuse/molestion/rape of minors worldwide. It is the swamp filled with the 1%, and the ignorance/denial of the other 99% is unfathomable high - especially for families that sell their own children. Thank you, with deepest respect, humility and compassion, to ALL of the Survivors who&apos;ve found the courage to come forth. May Peace soon be yours.
