An unbelievably sad and exceptionally disturbed story. Two innocent lives taken away.

Sam’s tattoo of a heart that said mom and dad really got me. I cannot imagine their pain. As a mother of an only child I just can’t fathom it, especially for such a senseless, selfish reason. And Julie was such a tragedy. She was going out of her way to help her friend. Two selfless people killed by the most selfish person imaginable.

What a horrific case. For a family to wonder where their son is, and then having to pray that investigators find their son's head for his burial. Just awful.

It's really hard to communicate how cringe this guy's interrogation was just through descriptions. 💀

I already knew about this crime but didn't recognize it at first because of how it was laid out. Always fascinating how Casefile can keep me interested in stories where I already know the ending by providing such a fresh take. 😁

Who the hell kills somebody  and then gives all of the evidence in a box to his brother?  Not only was this guy an evil evil man, he was also a monumental idiot. What a waste of two lives just so he could take his fiancé on a cruise.

My favorite true crime channel 💕 the writing is excellent but I recently realized how much the scoring adds to the experience.
