  By far the best piece of local engineering for an engine that can be in a taxi , the family truckster or an outright horsepower animal. Much the same as the late "Iron Lion" from Holden. We as a relatively small automotive country pulled way about our weight internationally. Sad it's demise.

  250 thousand ks, one set of chains, basic services, and my ute still does everything I tell it to. 1200 kilo on the tray, dragging a 1.5 ton excavator. It's a beast of a thing. Hasn't even got a hair drier on it. I'm a Holden man but by god I love my ute

  Bought my XR6 Turbo in 2015 and driven 173, 000 Kilometres so far. Very Reliable, Fun to Drive. Sad part is FORD Falcon XR6 Turbo, G6E Turbo and F6 no longer made.

  Yes i bought an ex cop highway Patrol 2010 FG turbo in Vixen red and its mental even stock with only mods a middle muffler delete and turbosmart blow valve (For the grandkids lol) Awesome Vid mate

  Try find genuine injectors for a fg XR6 turbo. It took me ringing dozens of places and 7 days to find a set. I only needed one as I set my 6 to be refurbished etc and one was leaking and to far gone hence why I was running on 5 cylinders. Keeping the 5 I will have left as they are rare as. Had many people at wreckers etc say good luck finding them.

  Even the most primitive Windsor can lap a race track all day without stopping.<br>No heat soak problems like the BARRA.
