  As a teacher, I&apos;ve learned to never raise my voice. Here are the reasons:<br>1) the energy that you give to your kids is the energy you get back<br>2) the teacher that constantly raises their voice is constantly raising their voice-- that becomes the baseline.<br>3) if I raise my voice it&apos;s for a reason and to have an effect. If you never raise your voice, and then you suddenly do, it&apos;s very very effective.

  So the good news is, <b>Meghann&apos;s</b> behaviour did improve later on however it wasn&apos;t due to the show according to her and her sisters. A lot of her behaviour was acting up to the cameras and being filmed constantly for 5 weeks. Sadly the mother was diagnosed with cancer in 2009 and the dad left, leaving her to look after 3 kids, 2 dogs and battle cancer. He doesn&apos;t have a relationship with any of the kids and they haven&apos;t seen him since he left. The mum did get better but sadly the cancer returned and she has a perminent bone disease buit all 3 kids (now adults) are very close and support her. Apparently a large part of her behaviour improving was adjusing to life after the dad left and the dynamic setting down in her teenage years. She now has a kid of her own and apparently works in a school and has a large tiktoc account. 💜 &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp;Edit: Aw thank you guys for all of the likes, I don&apos;t like the topic that my likes were for but I am still grateful. To my knowledge the mum is still alive and cared for by the daughters who are very close, but unfortunatly since the cancer gave her a perminent bone disease I don&apos;t know how long she will have.   The best advice I ever got before I had my second baby was: when both children are crying, take care of the older one first. They’ll never feel<br>Ignored or replaced, they will calm down quicker, and then have them hel with calming the baby. It give them purpose and they learn to love their sibiling. My kids are absolute best friends and I really think it’s because we started this way.

  What annoys me is parents telling kids off for completely mundane things like swinging a yoyo. Give a bit of wiggle room and pick your battles
