Great guest! Super eloquent, remained approachable and fair throughout. Provided a level of transparency on the process I'd never seen/heard before. Incredibly knowledgeable whilst being emphatic. Can't rave enough about this episode. Thank you guys

The biggest problem with the obsession of a wage-price spiral is with the wage increases we have it is literally impossible. Firstly as tax is instantanous meaning inflation cannot rise by the increase wage. That prices are not 100% wages, it ignores efficiency gains from increasing wages. America increased it's minimum wage in 1950 by 89% in a single year, inflation dropped and economic growth increased. Britains wages increased by 10% in the early 2000s, inflation 3%. It's a false boogeyman designed to supress wages. If they went up 400% in a year of course that would be an issue but that is not what we are talking about.

At times there have been some pretty savage questions and the fact Swati gave real answers is appreciated, painful that things are this way but honesty goes a long way when you're one of the only ones with a modicum of control

Loved this episode. Great guest - very eloquent and clearly highly intelligent! If this is the calibre of people making decisions it restores my faith in some of our central institutions!

This was a fantastic episode, much better than the grifters and the storytellers that weren't particularly economics/finance related in a lot of the recent episodes. I really appreciate Dr Dhingra's candid answers. Central banking is public service, private banking is where the money is made.
