  Honestly, football today still misses players like Del Piero. He wasn’t just scoring goals, he was creating moments you never forget. True icon of the game.

  before the injury in 1998 he was the only human who dared to try to keep up with ronaldo........Ronaldo in those years has been the best player who ever played and is not even close, and Del piero was in the argument for being close to him. Prime del piero was better than zidane and better than 99.9% of players you can think off. Juventus was an european force to reckon with, full of amazing players that did 3 champions league finals back to back and yet after he got injured they finish 1998-99 season at 7th place in serie A, this is how decisive he was as a player even in team of world class players.

  Del Piero wasn&apos;t just a name or a person, it was a concept.<br>Back in the 90s, it was all about magic and fantasy in football: Raúl, Giggs, Baggio, Le Tissier, Zidane.....and Alex Del Piero, of course.<br><br>I miss those days, when football was just another game

  Two players made me fall in love with football, Ronaldinho and Del Piero. Ronaldinho is the goat in my eyes, Del Piero is the legend, my idol.
