Such a beautiful place. I remember Josh Widdecombe talking about the hairy hand (on QI?). Love rocks that are oddball and those trees.

I don't know when this was filmed but it looks like you actually went into Wistman's? In recent years, people have been asked NOT to do that as it's such a fragile place!!! (And I shan't even mention that there are two other similar woods up there.) JEEZ!!! The tors weren't formed by glaciation - far more involved than that, involving molten rock, weathering and chemistry! Who did the research & wrote the script?! As a Devonian who spent a LONG time in and around Dartmoor but now living in Cornwall, I'll have to say that, as long as you stick a gert lump of clotted cream on top of the scone, it doesn't mater what goes on first (I lied ... jam first).
