My only complain for Kodlak is from a storytelling standpoint, from his journal we can tell that he became very fond of the dragonborn to the point he considered to pass down his title to them over any other companion... BUT WE BARELY SEE THIS IN GAME, WE BARELY INTERACT AND IT TAKES NOTHING TO GET TO THAT POINT.
We show up, do 5 missions and boom he regards us as the child he never had. I get it's just the starting guild, but man his death would've hit harder if we actually knew him lol

Viarmo is a great leader by doing the groundbreaking thing of being a decent guy. The Bard's College is run well, it has a ton of students who all do their jobs well. He asks you to get a historically relevant artifact in order to convince Elisif to reinstate a cultural festival, and even asks you for your input in convincing her by asking you what should be inserted to fill out its gaps. He fulfills his promise and makes you a bard after the festival. You also get Gift of the Gab from the quest and a bunch of skill increases from the other teachers so we can thank Viarmo for that.

Immaculate intro game.

A point for Isran is if you contract vampirism during the intro quest and decline joining Harkon, Isran will give you a chance to cure yourself instead of outright killing you

Congratulations to Viarmo for getting third place by doing nothing objectively wrong enough to put him lower on the list!

In defense of Savros, the title of archmage is more honorific than anything else. Mirabel says as much that she handles the actual work around the college as the archmage is seen more as the protector against magical threats hence why Tolfdir takes her place allowing the player to go out and clean up the mess caused by Ancano also I imagine he’s only Archmage because everyone else either died in Labyrinth or were made into thralls to keep Morokei at bay

4:51 this may be obvious to others, but this just occurred to me: Mercer Frey stealing the Skeleton Key and disrupting a thief’s luck probably directly contributed to Lokir, the horse thief we’re in the Imperial prisoner cart with at the start of the game, getting caught.

In my opinion, Astrid gets a point docked off for kidnapping the Dragonborn, sure, it's a possible strategy, but most people, including myself, try not to be psychopathic murderers, so essentially she kidnaps the most powerful warrior in skyrim, in an enclosed space, without preparing for a fight, in a room with hand-tied psychopaths.

She essentially just brought mr 'Kills Bad People' into a room full of bad people, armed and armoured, and expected him to join her...?

To be fair to Harkon all humans/mer/beast folk dying wouldn't cause his specific bloodline to go extinct because the Volkihars don't need to feed to survive and not feeding makes them stronger, they just like feeding and it helps them blend into society by making them look less like vampires.

That intro is worth whatever else happens in this video!

Delphine isn't even the faction leader of the Blades, and if she was she would be even worse than Mercer Frey because unlike Mercer Frey, Delphine refuses to follow the dragonborn, which would be like Mercer Frey refusing to allow anyone to steal anything.
