When a knife ear says something so Anu-Coded you gotta hit em with that Atmoran stare (genocide)

Something that I appreciate is how Jon Battle-Born explains to the player how Nords have a long and proud tradition of being warrior poets when he's complaining about Mikael.

To my understanding, Nords weren't opposed to magic throughout History. Iirc, that mistrust only started after the Oblivion crisis.

You know who is True Nord? It was Kodlak White-mane

I've heard a theory before that the reason Shor's throne in Sovengard is empty is because The Last Dragonborn is an aspect of Shor, how possible that is I'm not sure.

We really have to start making it clear that ysmir is a title and not explicitly one individual

I think most of the nords' distrust of mages comes from the college of winterhold being filled to the brim with reckless and short-sighted morons who blow up entire hold capitals as little oopsies.

My interpretation of the Dragon Cult is the Dragons’ enslavement of men was a way for Auri-El/Akatosh to further punish humans for Shor’s betrayal and war. Aur-El/Akatosh vs Lorkhan/Shor, Elves vs Men, Dragon Cultists (wannabe elves following Akatosh’s children) vs True Nords (men of Shor and Kyne).

I always think it's funny how much Skyrim tries to play up the Dunmer as being victims, when the shit going on in Windhelm is SO much nicer than anything they did

My thoughts about the deal with them calling the Gods by Imperial names is that while earlier beliefs had the Gods of Nords and Imperials be more different, it probably had a whole syncretic deal where eventually Kyne and Kynareth or Stuhn and Stendarr were seen as two names for the same God and would be used interchangeably. Especially since Maramal still refers to Mara as the handmaiden of Kyne rather than Kynareth. Much like the Greek and Roman Gods, before Interpretatio Graeca they were seen as much more different than nowadays
