  Sister Dew you and sister Nelson &nbsp;are &nbsp;being an example to me in my life as a woman of faith. <br>I ‘m very &nbsp;exited to see this wonderful work &nbsp;of the best sons and daughters of our Heavenly Father had done inside of the unique and first Salt lake Temple.<br>I will visiting Utah &nbsp;on that &nbsp;sacred Open House if My Lord give me strength to make the fly &nbsp;from Jacksonville, Florida.

  A couple of thoughts:<br><br>1. Being a volunteer is a wonderful opportunity to serve others. To help them experience a small part of what we experience. Whether they are a member or not, you will make a lasting impression on people. <br><br>2. I recently took some non-member friends to the Yorba Linda temple open house. They loved it. One said, &quot;however you are when you come in, you are changed for the better by being in here.&quot; At the end of that experience, they asked if we can attend the SLC open house. So, I&apos;m starting to plan it out.

  As an English member visiting Utah in 1985. I attended a session at SL. I was awestruck by the beautiful detail on even the &nbsp;doorknobs! As a disabled person I am interested in knowing more!

  This Temple Celebration is planned to show all that is worth living for and sacrificing for. - the pinnacle being having a covenant relationship with our Creator. What an excellent example of following the New Testament admonition of the Apostle Paul- “If there is anything virtuous, lovely, or of good report or praiseworthy, we seek after these things.”

  I really appreciate this. &nbsp; I have volunteered but was a little apprehensive when asked to chose what to do.<br>Now I know more &nbsp;and I am a lot more excited. &nbsp; Brother Suttons enthusiasm is infectious.

  When I was a teen, we came to SLC and participated in celebrations. &nbsp; They are memorable for the youth and make them feel that they are part of everything.

  The Church must be true!! How else could this celebration take place with so many intricate details and so many moving parts and cheerful, happy leaders and participants!

  I worked 3 days at the Nauvoo open house. Extremely tiring and hot. No air conditioning most of the time. <br>All of the people were concerned we had stolen the SLC &nbsp;statue of Christ. Everyone wanted their picture taken by it. <br>My favorite was one of the workmen showing his family a pillar he had worked on. He started crying and told them he would never work on anything more important than this. He wasn’t a member.

  My husband and I just served as guiding ushers for the San Diego Temple open house. It was an incredible experience to see the visitors faces light up as they entered the celestial room and many of the other rooms. It caused our hearts to swell with love for the temple and the peace that comes from sharing the temple with others. Everyone was so grateful and respectful. &nbsp;If you are able to volunteer your time for this once in a lifetime celebration of-the Salt Lake Temple you won’t regret it.
