  Without telling you who I am I'll tell you that it works. Just one example - I had a subject I wanted to know about but did not so I was studying it like feynman did. I knew very little about it at first and I decided to write a book about it so once I reasearched part of this subject deeply I was wrinting a chapter about it and was proceeding to the next one repeating the process. Within a year I had a book which I published and it had 3 editions in my country. It was technical book. Remember I knew almost nothing when I started and learned along the way.

  My wife studied for her pharmacist degree &nbsp;by attaching &nbsp;medicinal treatments to fictitious ailments plaguing real people in her life. Recently she showed me her 30-year-old notes and there they were: family members, friends, and neighbors names; their &nbsp;body parts; notes and shorthand describing who has what (fictitious!) ailment, what they&apos;re prescribed, what the side effects could be; &nbsp;scented highlighters to categorize treatments by both color and smell! <br><br>This was the homemade system she came up with, a non-technical person who truly loves people.

  Today, I sat down and wrote 5 hours from my head. Finance formulas, their derivations and conversions to each other. It immensely cleared my head, I was able to simplify a lot of formulas and come up with a shorthand formula I did not see before :) Little did I know that I was using the Fenyman method :))

  He reminds me of my dad. He would show me multiple ways of solving a math problem that I later applied to solving all problems. <br>My dad later became a teacher and when I went to the same college; random people would approach me saying how he was the best teacher they ever had because he showed multiple ways of solving a problem and he could explain things so anyone could understand. <br>Thanks Mr. Feynman !<br>Thanks Dad !   From my days before online tech manuals I&apos;ve lost count of the number of times on the job I would suddenly remember some infrequently used function the moment I reached for the reference binder without having to open it. That binder was a crutch.
