  In this video, I head to the supermarket for some simple ingredients, come home to cook for myself, spend time studying English, and even try baking treats from scratch. None of these are major milestones, but little by little, they make my daily life feel better.   I use light olive oil - it costs approximately $13.00 Canadian ($10.00 US). &nbsp;I believe those &quot;large onions&quot; are actually Leeks (a member of the onion family) - they are delicious - tangy but a bit sweeter than regular green onions - they are used to make a rich and creamy soup that is delicious and filling - Cream of Leek Soup, and some people make Cream of Leek and Potato soup. &nbsp;You might want to research a recipe and give it a try when you get a chance.
