  One of the books had Thrawn working with Vader, and mentioning he knew he was Anakin, meeting him when he was.

  I am pretty sure Thrawn knew Vader was Anikin. Its been a long time but I remember a story where Thrawn was dressed up like Boba Fett, and was interacting with Vader, and in his internal monolog basically said as much though obviously never voiced it. Could be wrong.

  a Jedi breaks when all that he&apos;s been taught and believed in, fail... when the system that he has sworn to protect and has been set up as his only support structure for answers and solutions disintegrates to be replaced by nothing... he breaks because he has believed so strongly and so devoutly that when the illusion is at last revealed, his mind cracks and in his desperation to replace a broken institution, he must find a replacement if he has not learned to seek within for his answers and solutions... a broken mind has nowhere else to go but darkness, the light will only expose the pain and fear that have gone unresolved... unhealed...
