  She feels like a filler character. The hype for the five new heroes were huge, Sierra’s reception was lukewarm, but then erupted for Shion.

  The fact that Sierra mom sounds like the more interesting and fun character is genuinely funny. Like her entire lore right now is hyping up her mother

  Her kit feels like someone wanted to make a reckless drone abusing anti-hero but was told that the character is a bubbly girl and struggled to work that kit into her.

  In my opinion, one of my main issues with Sierra is her lack of “schtick”. Lúcio has frogs and music, D.Va has mecha and bunnies, Tracer has time travel/manipulation, Reaper is literally the grim reaper, etc; <br><br>When you think of Shion, you think Hashimoto, tigers, motorcycle. Sierra doesn’t have any kind of theme that comes to mind when you think of her character. Makes her much less memorable

  Her whole character is full of contradictions, starting with the colours alone.<br><br>Her colour scheme is red, green, blue and… pink? <br><br>She came from a pretty rough childhood, yet somehow thrived and was top of her class.<br>Lost her mother in a traumatic incident, but is somehow happy go lucky.<br>Shes private military, somehow troop commander at 23, yet is fairly laid back and devoid of that personal discipline and grunginess all other vets in overwatch have. Plus she somehow is able to just get up and leave to join Overwatch.<br><br>The writing team has stated they want to make their characters seem aspirational, but they end up creating awkward unbelievable characters who’s entire storyline is being an overachiever (im looking at you Wuyang).

  Having a &quot;basic soldier&quot; with a drone just dosent cut it for this game<br><br>We have the &quot;Basic soldier&quot; in Soldier76, and he has iconicy do too 1. Having a unique design 2. He was the BASIC SOLDIER GUY in a game full of crazy powered people making himstand out on the game launch.<br><br>So adding another basic soldier just dosent do much for people
