  List of places:<br>Hani Kioa - Croquettes, Yuba flavor recommended as a historical soymilk product from Kyoto<br>Hero - Gyutero (seared beef “sushi” &amp; Beef Skewer Cutlet<br>Tako Tamago<br><br>Nishiki Ichiha - Taiyaki (butter &amp; red bean flavor!)<br><br>Kul Fukado - Traditional Japanese Sweets<br>Open since 1868, end of Edo Period<br>Houkyan - fish cakes (“like a hot dog… but fishy”.)<br><br>Categories without a specific store:<br>- Yakitori (grilled chicken skewers)<br>- Tofu &amp; Yuba products generally<br>- Sake Shops<br>- Tamegoyaki (rolled egg omelet)<br>- Takoyaki (invented in 1935!)<br><br>FAQ:<br>- Can just stand right in front of shop. They’ll direct you to seating if availableZ<br>- Bring cash!!! Most places take cash only<br>- Time:<br> &nbsp; &nbsp; - most open at 10, close at 5.<br> &nbsp; &nbsp; - 10 AM is recommended time.

  My favorite food that I ate in Nishiki was the fresh senbei on a stick. &nbsp;So delicious!!!!

  Dear Abby, these are amazing thankss lots! &nbsp;I think you may do something better than snacks for tourists - like how a real Japanese life goes, in the families, schools, workplace, rice fields ladies, etc. With language, great photoskills, your links with the country that would be a new level!
