Massive Aussie Rush fan here. The band never came here in almost half a century of existence, so I flew to North America three times just to see them. That's the kind of dedication that band inspired in its fans...

I still tear up when I hear about Neil's passing 😢 he and the band were such a huge part of my life. 🇨🇦🥁🎸🎹

One of my biggest disappointments is the fact that I will never get to tell Neil "Thank You". A long time ago, in my teens, I spent hours listening to and learning Neil's drum parts on the drums. It meant so much to me. Those were some of the happiest times of my life.

I had the pleasure of seeing Rush 53 times including the final show at the Forum.... 53 Neil Peart solos were some of the highlights of my life.... I waited until 3:30 am after the final show and got to meet Alex and got to talk with him for at least 15 minutes..... He told me I was exactly the kind of fan that they did the last tour for.... The first time I saw them was at the Forum in 1978....so many beautiful memories!
