  Ex military chopper pilot here. &nbsp;We used to fly low operationally as a matter of course. &nbsp;I found the closer I got to retirement the higher I flew during normal operations. &nbsp;This was much to the disappointment of the troops down the back because they loved grunting and bunting around at and below the tree tops. &nbsp;I fully understand the pilot doing a fly by of his village but it was not the best thing to do on his last flight. &nbsp;As my ex Lancaster aviator Dad used to tell me when I was a baby pilot... son, he would say, there are old pilots and there are bold pilots, but there are not many old and bold pilots. &nbsp;Good advice Dad.

  Back in the early 60&apos;s my mother had a friend whose son was a globe trotting captain. &nbsp;All the neighbors gather around to hear his stories of Japan, Singapore, Hong Kong, etc. &nbsp;One local lady said, &quot;That&apos;s so exciting!&quot; &nbsp;To which the captain dead panned back, &quot;Not if I do it right.&quot;

  I have absolutely no fear of flying but I’ve watched so many episodes I also hear Petters voice narrating my flight every time I get on a plane 😅

  Might want to check the levels or gate on Petter&apos;s mic, there&apos;s a sort-of sidechain effect (whenever he talks the volume ducks).

  As a retired military aviation firefighter, I can honestly say that there can never be enough quality firefighting training. The training that Ben mentioned is something that can and will occur at anytime. Thank you for the great chat, gentlemen.
