The cut engineer scenes made him look more like a human being than some deranged berserker.

Biologist finds<br> alien life. IMMEDIATELY grabs it with his hands while not wearing a mask.

I will never understand how a room full of adults watched the final cut of this film and thought it was ready.

Never understood why "Dr Shaw" was in love with the worst character in the movie. All he did was be an asshole to everyone and just became a nuisance once infected.

Awesome how they took out scenes from the movie that fully explain and fill all of the plot holes left unanswered in the “final” film released to audiences in the theaters.

These scenes made the film that was released, actually make more sense to me now.

I read a Prometheus script online that was pre-Lindelof and great. It actually formed a fully coherent prequel. It even fully explained the actions of the Engineers. Apparently, they sent envoys to Earth every few thousand years to guide us, and Jesus was the last Engineer they sent. Humans killed him, they gave up on us, and decided to end humanity and start over on Earth. But the Engineers tasked with ending us made something they shouldn't have, and they "spilled something".

Engineer tears off David’s head but just sort of tosses Shaw around, the plot armor is too strong.

Well this explains why the film left me confused, and wondering what the hell was going on and why. Better question, who was the idiot who thought it was a good idea to edit out all of that crucial story line?? A terrible editor, or a foolish bean counting Hollywood executive?

Fun fact. The guy in the engineer suit played the giant in game of thrones and played a predator in alien vs predator .
