  I've experienced the DNR while duck hunting. He did all he could to try and write a ticket, swore he saw us shoot over the limit, and that we must have left all the ducks in the woods. But seeing as we only shot 2, and that's all we had, and he could not find any others, he could not write a ticket. Man, was he mad.

  This is exactly why Michigan hunting numbers are down. Also the dnr trap most of the salmon on the Platte River and sell it for dog food but give us a hard time fishing

  They were hunting a managed waterfowl area, different regulations than general waterfowl hunting. Different bag limits, different equipment restrictions. At the end of the day it’s the hunters responsibility to read rules and regulations that apply to the area they hunt. These guys are just doing their jobs and enforcing those rules.
