They are like....1/4 the volume you expect. I have some 600's that are LOUD LOUD. These? I have something hooked up wrong, or they are whisper quiet. I took one stereo and plugged it directly into the 600s and these.....600's super rock loud loud. These. Whispers. Just saying. My experience.

I had these for a few years in a Klipsch RP 5.1.4 setup and while they are pretty good for home theater but are terrible for music. They also have a tiny sweet spot and need extreme toe in. They have no midrange and have too much shrieky treble. Im sure in certain rooms these would sound better but not in mine. They have been replaced with Wharfedale Lintons and the Heritage Center

Have you even tried to measure these things? They are absolute garbage. How can you not hear that enormous hole in the frequency response? Are you deaf?

I don't think they beat the JBL 590's. Nope. I wanted to get the entire line of Klipsch but they failed to deliver compared to the Studio 5 line (except the center) that still is a beast.

Listened to them a while since, had a pair on loan for 2 weeks. Initially really impressed, bouncy, fun sound signature. After a week though I struggled with them, the sound became tiring, voices sounded hollow to me, bass guitars and kick drums sounded lazy, clumsy. I can see them appealing to certain people but ultimately they were found wanting to me, I ended up with the Wharfedale 12.4, a far more balanced, accurate, speedier sound for me.

8000F owner driving them with a Prima Luna Evo 200 Integrated and Rega P7 Ania Pro source. They OVER-PERFORM for what I paid but I'm still looking at the difference between them and Forte IVs
