For those that think Mr. Collins is limited to a few riffs only....should just type in " if trouble was money" or "Blues for Stevie" by Mr. Collins. A pleasant surprise awaits......what do I know, I'm just an old harp player from the N.Y.C.

Legend has it that Albert Collins walked out into the street and is still heard  playing but never to be seen again. I’m still trying to find him.

Now i see why SRV had Albert Collins play with him everytime he was in town. Tommy Shannon said that SRV would describe the players he drew insperation from as 'real'..and Albert was the real deal. When you use your fingers and pluck the string you get such a strong attack. Combine that with a telecaster and a capo to tighten the string and you've got some blues power.
