This man looked SRV straight in his face and told him he was "pretty" good

I was very blessed and fortunate to have played and toured with Albert King for a while. I was playing trombone on this tour.
You could feel the power emulating out of him clear across the stage.

Incredible. Thank you to Rick Beato and Joe Bomamossa for introducing me to this performance.

Even with the respect that Albert gets from hard-core blues fans, he still is under-rated. Outstanding guitarist, great musician.

I once saw Albert King at a community college. They only charged a dollar for the concert - the deal of a lifetime. He was amazing.

Profusely sweating, bending almost everything, pure soul, delivery. He is the
very definition of a blues showman. We love you Albert!

Cameraman: let’s get as many shots of Mr King without the guitar as possible.

I love the story of Albert King coming into the studio while Stevie Ray was recording and asking him for like $1500. Stevie Ray gave him the money and Albert King said “This is for all of those licks you stole from me!”. Lol He loved Stevie and Stevie obviously loved him.
