  I would highly recommend the PrimaLuna brand—basically anything they make. Their products are built in the same factory as Cayin, and the build quality is top-notch. It&apos;s outdated to think that Chinese manufacturers don&apos;t know what they&apos;re doing or that everything made there is poor quality. <br> <br>PrimaLuna is a Dutch brand, though, so it&apos;s generally positioned a bit more upmarket than Cayin. The EVO 400 Integrated is <b>*super*</b> dynamic for a tube amp. It also has auto-bias and comes with a nice protective tube cage, which is great if you have kids or pets around.

  Thank you Jay, for the review of the two Cayin Jazz 80. &nbsp;As a side note, some Cayin models offer a EL34/KT88 switch at the rear of the unit, for hassle free tube change, including Cayin&apos;s newest integrated amp, the Jazz 90 (the more powerful bigger brother to the Jazz 80, including the addition of MM phono and sub out).

  I strted out with a dynaco SY70 and for t he price it was a gtreat power amp. I went over to solid state till the 90&apos;s when I bought a Jolida 502 that I ran with a CJ PV-10, that combo was sweet especially the phono stage of the CJ.<br><br>That was when output tubes strted to get expensive and the quality was iffy at vest. I kept the PV10 and married it to various solid state amps. I now run a Rogue Audio pore with a Galion Comet solid state power amp and am happy with the sound. The cost of output tubes has curtailed my curiosity with tube power amps.

Thank you<br>i love all Cayin gears . i&apos;m very interested to learn about them.. i find them Well made and look GREAT too.<br>the one i would really love to have is the Cayin Soul KT-170i integrated, to pair with MoFi SourcePoint 10 SE ... thanks for sharing your thoughts.<br>lovely Dog BTW 😊 .
