They are referring to the plans to mine, the mineral and destroy the planet. That’s what Cyril cannot know about.

I didn’t catch that look from Lonnie looking at Luthen with his wig , which Lonnie never sees. That’s funny

Killing Ghorst was the mission they saw the beacon for. Lonnie would have told Luthen/Kleya. Luthen wanted Bix to find closure which in turn keeps Cass on side. Plus they off someone who was expanding the torture network which was a major threat. Win win. I suspect he thought of it right after Kleya put him in his place during his panic. He said himself he was drowning. So many bits to soak up. Love it.

I missed it on first watch, but Cassian DID tell Luthen, "You want my blood? Help me work this out."
Insert mission where Bix exacts revenge on Dr. Gorst. A first-step remedy to Bix's nightmares.

I just remembered what fits perfectly for 21:06, the quote from S1 "The axe forgets but the tree remembers". Dr gorst was the axe but Bix remembered him

Lonni effectively shifted responsibility for supervising Gorst's relocation to the Navy facility. Once again, he comes in clutch with the intel.

Kleya is climbing the ranks of my favorites, especially with the play at the end of the episode.

I think Cyril believes he is there to stop the Rebels.

Sucks to have Cassian's assessment of the Ghorman Front being incompetent turn out to be absolutely correct in the worst way possible.

At 8:40 Major Partagaz is referring to the actual mineral they need for the Death Star. The real reason the Empire wants Ghorman.

The very last moment we see of Bix walking away with Cassian she cracks a knowing smile as if to let the audience know "I'm back, finally got my revenge, nightmares are over!"
