"If the words escape, does the anomaly escape?"
Yes, on occasion this does happen.

Note that when Volgun made this video (which is a video essay of a reddit post, which Volgun credits at the video's end) the SCP Wiki hadn't yet reached 3999. But today there are over 8000 SCP entries. The individual SCP files plus all of the various supporting documents collectively make up the largest single theme collaborative fiction project in human history.

And so it begins. The dive into the rabbit hole that is the SCP Foundation. Can't wait to see how deep it goes.

When it comes to SCP, nobody does it better than the Volgun.

SCP-999 is both fren-shaped, and possibly the spawn of an intergalactic devil. Win-Win.

For classes it's best to use the locked box analogy. If you put it in a box and nothing happens it's safe. If you put it in a box and you're unsure of it being in said box then it's Euclid. If you put it in the box and it gets out easily then it's keter. Thaumial is the box.

Legitimately, the best place to start right here. If you're a little overwhelmed by the wiki itself, picking interesting sounding Volgun videos where he reads out the SCP is good too.

25:30 That did used to be true; at one point, there were a bunch of SCPs that were basically just self-insert reality benders. However, those have been mostly killed off; there were even stories written about how it happened in at least one case, such as one called "Termination Order".

There are a few befriendable ones. There is also an even rarer class then Thaumiel called Apollyon. One that is basically "If you don't want anything to go incredibly wrong then for the love of god DON'T FUCK WITH IT! IF ANYTHING KEEP IT AS IS!"

"See, this is why I don't read. So I don't expose myself to this kind of stuff." The antimemetics division's strongest soldier.
